Unfinished business (unexpressed secrets and emotions toward someone) from your past can be looked at and resolved with the Empty Chair technique (developed by Fritz Perls).
To make Gestalt Therapy an even more powerful tool for growth and change I add Transactional Analysis/Awareness (TA), which embraces the tools of language and Parent, Adult, and Child. (TA) is a highly effective method of enhancing your relationship with yourself and others. However, when combined with Gestalt Therapy, it creates a powerful tool for dynamic change, and works wonders with couples as well, especially if they have a desire, a yearning to enrich their relationship.
